Laica Introduces Her Astounding Debut Album “I’m So Fine At Being Lonely”

Upcoming artist Laica is armed with an exceptional voice, an impressive pen game, and songs that far surpass what’s typically expected of a new artist, 22-year-old Filipina singer-songwriter Laica (now based in LA) is establishing herself as one of R&B-pop’s strongest forces. She takes cues from the likes of Ariana Grande, Amy Winehouse, Frank Ocean, and Clairo, so it’s no surprise that honest writing and unteachable talent lie at the heart of her work. For years, Laica uploaded covers to YouTube (with some viral success) and busked in Santa Monica, hoping to get discovered. As fate would have it, producer/engineer/visual artist Cooper Leith stumbled upon Laica as she was busking, and he proceeded to become her creative counterpart. Together, they made Laica’s debut EP, Forever, a dynamic body of work that explores the complications of navigating life and love while entering your early 20s.

With the release of her newest album, “I’m So Fine At Being Lonely” she presents a vibrant arrangement of 11 tracks. With the first track “I’m So Fine At Being Lonely” she projects a very soothing single that will definitely intrigue your ears. Beginning with dreamy instrumentation leading onto her sweet and soft vocals she completes the track fully. Another favorite of mine would have to be “Twin Flame” it has such exhilarating energy behind it that it’s hard to resist. Carrying the track with soft vocals and upbeat sound it would surely have you vibing out. Go stream “I’m So Fine At Being Lonely” and check out her discography which is filled with amazing tracks.
