Her first single release of 2021, “Coming Back For Me”, was another collaboration with producer Andy Seltzer. Released in January of 2021, “Coming Back For Me” caught the attention of legendary radio voice and programmer Bruce Warren and has spun on XPN and NPR’s World Cafe. 2021 also saw Jenny’s music placed on several Spotify editorial playlists including Fresh Finds, Indie All Stars, and New Music Friday which collectively have well over 1 million followers. Jenny is currently planning tour dates for 2022 as well as more studio recordings coming soon. With the release of her newest single, “I Should Lose You” she presents a captivating sound that will certainly intrigue your attention. Starting with bright instrumentation leading onto her sweet and catchy vocals she completes the song fully. Explaining the track a bit further it’s about falling out of love with someone and realizing you need to let them go. The relationship was failing and it became so one-sided. It’s easy to realize that you no longer have feelings for someone but it’s the intrinsic difficulty of hurting them that makes it so hard. You can be in a relationship, feel a shift and know something isn’t right anymore but the second you say it out loud it’s in the open. You can’t take it back. The truth is, the best solution is to rip off the band-aid and move on. That’s what she had to do. To the vocals and production, this single will surely have you vibing and even possibly relating to the lyrics if you have ever gone through a breakup. It would be just perfect for a late-night drive or walking down the beach after dawn. Go stream “I Should Lose You” and check out her discography which is filled with outstanding music.
