Upcoming artist Ben Again was raised in Jacksonville, FL where learned how to play and perform while drumming every Sunday at his Father’s small evangelical Christian church. Growing up during the height of the 90’s American Christian evangelical movement, Ben was deeply closeted and plagued by fear until his early 30’s when he found his own truth and personal Pagan/Buddhist faith – Energy which he manifested itself into his debut EP “Son Of The Earth”. Ben now lives in sunny South Los Angeles, CA, where he lives happily with his partner Katherine and 3 magical and beautiful daughters. Ben also works professionally as a designer and sr. art director, skills which he uses to craft and produce his personal branding and digital media. Ben Again’s music should thrill fans of Mac Demarco, MGMT, Arcade Fire, Toro y Moi, Future Islands, The War on Drugs, and Tyler the Creator. Following the release of his newest single “AH SO!” he projects a dreamy sound that will definitely grasp your ears. Starting with dreamy instrumentation leading onto his sweet and smooth vocals he completes the song entirely. Explaining the track a bit further it’s about the Buddhist concept of using non-attachment as a path to finding inner peace, as popularized in the West by Ram Dass in the late 60s. While Ram Dass passed away in 2019, his new song “AHSO!” was recently blessed and endorsed by his community of Buddhist Hippies who still live and serve in RD’s house in Maui, HI.
