Vance Eris Introduces His Exquisite Track “CHANGE UR MIND”

Upcoming artist Vance Eris has been refining his craft for almost a decade despite being only 20 years old. He began his journey touring and playing hundreds of shows with his first band. At age 14, he became the youngest performer to headline a stage at Jay-Z’s Made In America Festival. Since then, he’s played professionally in a number of other bands while also writing songs and producing for other artists. In recent years, Eris has been curating his own sound through 1970’s analog recording techniques used by artists such as Stevie Wonder and Brian Eno in combination with modern tropes of internet age pop. Following the release of his newest single “CHANGE UR MIND,” he projects a nostalgic sound that will definitely grasp your attention. Beginning with dreamy instrumentation leading onto his captivating and bright vocals he completes the song entirely. Explaining the track a bit further it’s a sonic manifestation of the gaping hole in your stomach that grows as you wait for a text that never comes. The instrumentation strolls through all 5 stages of grief, as Eris yearns to understand the disappearance of a love interest. The verses embody the calm before the storm, oozing with tapey acoustic guitars and Frank-Esque pitched background vocals. Eris cries over the bellowing drums of the chorus asking “where did I go wrong” and “did you change your mind?”. The track finds its resolution through a chaotic symphony met with vocal shrieks and a bitcrushed rhythm section – warranting a resounding “are you okay lol?” from every listener. To the vocals and production, this single will certainly have you vibing. Being just great for a late-night drive or walking down the beach after dawn. Go stream “CHANGE UR MIND” and check out his discography which is filled with outstanding music.
