Introducing a talented artist known as Uncle Jimmy 1852 aka Ofentse was born and raised in Meadowlands Zone 9. He grew up in the Southern Townships of Soweto. Jimmy had discovered his passion for music at the age 9, he loved to play melodies with buckets as his instrument (drums). He saw music as inspiration and as everything nor everyone, by the time he had no clue what he was playing but he had a vision of a genre he was playing. Later on in life he found out that his cousins were rappers and he fell in love with the concept of hiphop and considered it as his favorite genre alongside deep house music. He pursued his dream during high school and started forming freestyle sessions during lunch time, he wanted everyone to discover their hidden talents in them. In 2016 he recorded his first song and began to take his music career serious.
Following the release of his debut single “4rm The 9ine” he projects a such exhilarating sound that will certainly captivate your ears.
