Upcoming artist Thaddeus is a Danish-American indie synth-pop artist, debuting with his EP “Reasonable Doubt” in July 2022. After having spent years in the Copenhagen indie-rock underground, playing alongside acts such as Alcabean, M.Rexen, and Girlcrush, Thaddeus created his first solo project with the vision to bring thoughtful lyrics and honest vocal performances into a quirky, 80s-inspired, synth-driven universe. Thaddeus’ debut EP was created during corona-lockdowns in a Copenhagen bomb-shelter turned recording studio, in collaboration with Argentinian producer Lucas Delacroix and a host of musicians from Copenhagen, Vienna, and Reykjavík. The result is a combination of catchy melodies, airy synths, and a lyrical universe teetering between the emotionally personal and the philosophically abstract. Following the release of his newest single “Let Go,” he presents a stunning sound that will certainly intrigue your ears. Starting with groovy instrumentation leading onto his bright and intoxicating vocals he captures the song fully. To explain the track a bit further it’s about having your own need for control and as a celebration of all the unknowns in life.
