Outstanding artist Tarrah was born and raised in rural southeastern North Carolina, Tarrah discovered her love for country music at a young age. She knew as a child that she wanted to be a singer and began performing anywhere she could. Upon graduating high school, however, she chose to pursue a more traditional path and went to college at North Carolina State University to obtain a degree in Animal Science. She has always loved animals and had hopes of becoming a veterinarian, and thought taking that route was the practical thing to do. Not long after starting college, though, Tarrah began to realize that her passion for music far outweighed her passion for anything else and she knew she had to pursue it. She finished her degree in 2019 and has since begun to pursue a career as a singer/songwriter. Tarrah’s music blends her unique life experience with a contemporary country flavor, creating a style that is both fresh and familiar. Her debut single, “What I’m Missing”, which she recorded with world-class musicians and producer Ben Fowler at Blackbird Studio in Nashville, TN, explores heartbreak through a new yet relatable lens; struggling to move on from a relationship that made you realize what you’d been missing before it. As Tarrah is making the move to Nashville this summer, she plans to continue honing in on her sound and connecting with fans in North Carolina, Tennessee, and beyond. She hopes that her voice and songs can help others get through the tough times in life and enjoy the good ones, just as other artists and songs have done for her. With the release of her newest single “Used to It” she projects a captivating sound that will definitely grasp your ears. Beginning with soothing instrumentation leading onto her sweet and smooth vocals she captures the song entirely. Explaining the track a bit further it’s about finding love again but not wanting to get “Used to It” because she has been constantly hurt and doesn’t want to get attached just to get heartbroken again. To the vocals and production, this single will certainly have you vibing and possibly relating to the lyrics. Being just great for a drive during sunset or a day out on the beach. Go stream “Used to It” and be on the look out for new music from this amazing act.
