Amazing artist Roger Perelló is a rising soft pop artist based in London. Born and raised in Barcelona (Spain), Perelló moved to the UK in late 2019 to pursue his dreams of making music. He is currently finishing a Songwriting Degree at BIMM London and writing and recording new original songs that will be released throughout 2022. His music could be defined as warm and melancholic pop music for listeners with a soft spot for emotional lyrics and catchy melodies. Perelló is influenced in his songwriting by a range of singer-songwriters: from pop sensations Taylor Swift and Lana Del Rey, to folk icon Leonard Cohen or folk-rock sensation Tamino. With the release of his newest single “I am what I am (your beloved man) he projects a nostalgic sound that will definitely captivate your attention. Beginning with dreamy instrumentation leading onto his sweet and ear-catching vocals he completes the track entirely. Explaining the song a bit further it was written when the Covid-19 pandemic had just began. He had been starting to go out with his current boyfriend for only a month or so when Covid hit the UK and they were something quite undefined. All of a sudden, they saw themselves in a situation where it was dangerous to leave the house and they had no clue what was going on. He wrote this describing the way they lived that moment: in a world full of chaos and uncertainty, they decided to stay inside together for weeks (which they had not done prior to that), get to know each other, and fall in love with each other.
