Night Cruise With Their Luscious Track “Third Sound”

Introducing Night Cruise they are possessed with a sound that is both modern and antiquated, showcasing meticulous production with complex and harmonically rich songs that bear a resemblance to the music of Steely Dan and Talking Heads. The lyrical narrative, as expressed by principal songwriter Micah Keren-Zvi and singer Sariah Mae, is closely connected to the city itself, and to the beautiful and challenging experiences it cultivates. Micah Keren-Zvi formed Night Cruise together with Sariah Mae and producer/engineer Peter Gonzales in 2012. Between 2014 and 2017, the group played a number of shows at many well-regarded small venues while simultaneously recording and producing their self-titled EP. Keren-Zvi continues to work as a performer and session guitar player in LA, and he is currently pursuing a Master of Fine Arts degree in Music Technology from California Institute of the Arts (CalArts). Following the release of their newest single “Third Sound”, they project a dreamy sound that will certainly captivate your attention. Beginning with smooth instrumentation leading onto their sweet and soft vocals they complete the song fully. Explaining the track a bit further it explores the incongruity between the internal and external, and the possibility of loneliness amongst a sea of people, “Third Sound” lands somewhere between the jazzy contemplation of Steely Dan and the AM radio pop of Fleetwood Mac. To the vocals and production, this single will surely have you vibing. It would be just great for a late-night drive or chilling with some friends. Go stream “Third Sound” and check out their discography which is filled with amazing tracks.
