Astounding artist Mike Baretz is a Jersey kid, whose hometown wasn’t known for its support of the arts. Despite this, he gravitated toward music. As a kid, he taught himself guitar by ear and learned the basics of recording in a bedroom. Upping his self-taught game, Baretz studied with Juilliard’s Justin Dello Joio and gained new wisdom in writing, recording, and performing music. This drive allowed Baretz to hone a sound using articulate artistry to create catchy melodies everybody can relate to. He’s captured hearts with his intricate instrumentality and lucid lyricism as seen in his past collaborations. He’s broken through those hometown barriers and is using music to bring people together, a community for those who may not have one at home. Following the release of his newest single “Take It That Way” he presents a sizzling sound that will definitely grasp your ears.
