Talented band Lost In Japan could best be described as a powerful indie pop rock, drawing influence from artists such as the Wallows, Tokyo Police Club, and The Kooks. From their catchy indie-pop to their infectious hooks, Lost In Japan always makes for a truly memorable listening experience. Lost In Japan has already made tremendous strides in the industry, sharing the stage with legendary bands such as Badflower, Hollerado, and Born Ruffians. With lots of pride for their hometown, the band is grateful for the support they’ve received in return such as having one of their singles featured in London Ontario’s promo video for the 2019 JUNO Awards. They have also charted to # 18 on Canadian billboard for their hit single ‘Red Line’. The band has also found success in the London music community after winning Corus Entertainments $20,000 summer song Contest, the Jim Beam Make History Talent Search and winning the honour to play their local New Years Bash at Victoria Park. The money they won through Corus Entertainment has helped them develop their full length sophomore LP which has amassed over 500k streams on Spotify. With the help from Grammy winner Matt Snell & Dan Brodbeck, Lost In Japan’s new music captures the high-energy essence of their live shows and features many thought provoking lyrics that they have become so well known for. Following the release of their newest single “On My Way” they project a captivating sound that will surely grasp your attention. Beginning with stunning instrumentation leading onto their bright and ear-catching vocals they complete the track entirely. Explaining the song a bit further it’s stemmed from a friend sharing how anxious they were, despite looking completely fine. They put on a smile even though they were having a tough time mentally. To the vocals and production this single will definitely have you jamming out and possibly relating to the lyrics. It would be just perfect for a late night drive or hanging out with some friends. Go stream “On My Way” and check out their discography which is filled with astounding tracks.
