Lethal Dialect Takes Us Back In Time With “Salt of the Earth”

Upcoming artist Lethal Dialect is known as a pioneer in Irish hip-hop, being one of the first artist to combine an East Coast boom-bap sound with a North Dublin accent, he inspired a remarkable new language for Irish artists to follow suit. From his debut, LD50, Lethal Dialect has championed the boom-bap sound, tackling the bravado, paranoia, and instability of his experiences, adding a sonic amble that grates and glitters at the same time. Inspired by many greats such as Nas, Tupac, DOOM and Wu-Tang, Paul Alwright has been active since 2006 pioneer for Irish Homegrown Hip Hop. With enough talent and charisma to silence any doubters, LD has become one of Ireland’s most exciting artists to watch.

Following the release of his newest album “Songs of a Dead Dreamer” it has a nicely arrangement of 10 tracks that take us way back to where it all began. The sharply-written album odes vividly portray the growing pains of a young version of himself as he exhibits honest, no nonsense hip-hop presented with cool-headed lyricism. With one track in particular “Salt of the Earth” he presents so much creativity and authenticity, projecting an amazing sound you will surely be intrigued. Beginning with upbeat instrumentation leading onto his bold and crisp vocals he completes the single fully. Explaining the single further it’s about reminiscing the past and the times when you would hang around your city. To the vocals and production this song will certainly have you vibing. Being just perfect for a late night drive or chilling with some friends. Go stream “Salt of the Earth” and check out “Songs of a Dread Dreamer” which is filled with astounding tracks.
