Upcoming artist Julius Faran was born and raised in North Germany he Moved to San Diego in 2017 and then to NYC in 2019. He started playing the piano when he was 4 years old, later on, he learned to play trumpet and taught himself drums and bass.
Music has always been a part of his life, growing up he listened to all kinds of music thanks to his parents, they were his initial music influence. As well as Miles Davis, The Beatles, David Bowie, The The, The Cure, Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Style Council, Depeche Mode, U2, Simple Minds, Simply Red, Sade, Elvis Costello, Tears for Fears, Jamiroquai, Pale Fountains, The Go-Betweens, Muse, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Chopin, Mozart, Mandle, Bach, Beethoven the list goes on and on and on. Once he got older artists like Kanye West, Kid Cudi, Mac Miller, Kendrick Lamar, and Tyler the Creator joined the list. In 2015 he started producing his first beats, in 2018 he released his first song after a heartbreak. That’s how he got into making and releasing songs, to deal with his emotions and thoughts In 2019 he and his best friend (he goes by the name Majero) started to produce music together. With the release of his newest track “Could It Be” he projects a fascinating sound that will surely intrigue your ears. Starting with bright instrumentation leading onto his smooth and catchy vocals he captures the song entirely. Explaining the track a bit further it’s about the feeling that someone has just played you. That all they have been saying was just to keep you on the hook.
