Astounding artist J.See is an independent rapper & songwriter from Virginia (The North). He moved to NYC almost a year ago to pursue his dreams in music and connect with artists and platforms in the city. He tends to mesh genres together and keep rhymes and bars in the forefront while experimenting with sounds like afrobeats, R&B, pop, drill, dancehall, and more. He’s been writing songs since he was around 11 years old but always wanted to be a singer instead of a rapper. Puberty didn’t really let him have the voice for it so he started focusing on rapping and always had a way with words and rhyming. He recorded his first song on an old webcam microphone and would upload regularly to Facebook for kids at his school to listen to. He kept it up through high school and college while getting better and better. During the Pandemic He started taking music more seriously and released his last project “EYERIS” completely independently and funded 2 music videos as well. With the release of his newest single “Eye Told You” he presents a sizzling sound that will certainly intrigue your attention. Starting with thrilling instrumentation leading onto his smooth and catchy vocals he captures the song entirely. Explaining the track a bit further it speaks from a positive place of hope, success, and perseverance while still having levels of bravado and slight toxicity. After all, the takeaway is “You doubted me, but now I’m making it happen: I told you so”. To the vocals and production, this single will definitely have you dancing.
