Outstanding artist ITUA (Lloyd Itua Usidame) has been working in the music scene for over twelve years. Starting out as a drummer and backing vocalist for the indie rock band Hunting the Robot at the age of twelve, performing and touring internationally as a live drummer for Thomas Azier, BEA1991, and Klyne. Playing support shows for acts such as Years & Years, Christine and The Queen, and Metronomy. The young singer/songwriter/producer is now ready to break out with his Nigerian birthname ‘’ITUA’’. Blending his deep love for Afropop, hip-hop, modern R&B, and indie music, ITUA brings something completely new to the international music scene. ‘His music takes you into a dream-like state as if you’re dancing in the sun while crying tears of happiness, sadness, and hope.’ Being a Dutch/Nigerian kid raised in a religious household, Itua has always felt a bit disconnected from his dutch peers.
