Introducing Goldpark where the best music comes from true collaboration. The warmth and strength of their bond, as both friends and musical partners, ripples through each song they create and every show they perform. The band first connected in 2019 when Andrew moved from Memphis to Nashville, meeting Wes through a work colleague. The pair was immediately struck by their similar musical sensibilities, and they began filling in for each other at various gigs around town. Kyle soon joined the mix, and by early 2020 Goldpark had started working on their first EP. Goldpark’s songs are a point of connection not only for the band but for the listener too. Even as the musicians examine the highs and lows of human existence, they also lean towards optimism. In hard times, music can be what unites us and drives us. In April 2020, the newly formed trio’s demos caught the attention of Hazel Street Records. Inking their record deal just as the pandemic struck, Goldpark was forced to regroup and figure out how to launch a band without the road. Undeterred, Goldpark persevered and started to write, record, and release their debut EP, Goldpark One, which was released in August 2021. “It would have been easy, because of social distancing and remote sessions, for this record to sound like it was made solely with a computer,” Andrew notes. “In a time when human interaction was scarce, we aimed to make songs that sounded like humans playing music together. These songs are a pillar of hope, like the light at the end of this tunnel.” Bolstered by a mix of blog buzz, DSP playlisting, and a slew of eager new fans, the band was finally able to hit the road in Summer 2021. Now, after nearly a year of touring around the US, Goldpark is preparing to step into their next chapter: Goldpark Two. “[This EP] is special for so many reasons,” the trio remarked. With the release of their newest single “I Guess It’s Never Enough,” they project a dazzling sound that will certainly intrigue your attention. Starting with bright instrumentation leading onto their sweet and smooth vocals they complete the song entirely. Explaining the track a bit further it’s about rising above gossip and betrayal. To the vocals and production, this single will definitely have you dancing and singing along to the lyrics. Being just great for a drive during sunset or a day out on the beach. Go stream “I Guess It’s Never Enough” and check out their discography which is filled with amazing tracks.
