Eugenio Oliveras is carving out a distinctive niche in the music world with his evocative blend of genres and introspective lyricism. Hailing from Lancaster, PA, Oliveras has evolved significantly since his early days in the industry.
His journey began with a refreshing start in January 2018 when he re-released Designer Drugs, transforming the original 15-track collection into a more refined 6-song EP in 2019. This marked a new chapter for Oliveras, showcasing his ability to distill his sound into a more focused and compelling form.
Building on this momentum, Oliveras released MINGO in 2019, an EP that delved into darker, more vulnerable themes while maintaining a contemporary R&B edge. His work in 2020 continued to impress, notably with the single “BAE,” featuring Dallas artist BigChildSupport. The year also saw the release of the collaborative EP Synchronicity, which included appearances from Surf-O and Houston’s multi-platinum artist Mike Jones on the track “The Plan.”
After a quieter 2021, where he released only two records—wannabe and Left To Give—Oliveras made a noteworthy return in late December with 4U (DEMO). This mixtape introduced a new, assertive sound and was well-received, surpassing his previous streaming numbers.
Now, Oliveras has unveiled his latest single, “Hotel Suite.” This track, initially premiered by Argentinean Spanish-lyric channel warui on Valentine’s Day, offers a soft and sensual listening experience. It’s a testament to his ability to craft emotive and captivating music that transcends conventional genre boundaries.
