Before the pandemic, MICHA was part of a duo called Micha and Julia. Despite their brief time together, they quickly made a significant impact in the music scene. Their songs were featured on notable Apple and Spotify playlists such as New Music Daily, New Music Friday, and New in Singer/Songwriter. In less than a year, they amassed over 2.5 million streams. The duo also performed at major festivals in The Netherlands, including Lowlands and Bevrijdings Festival, and had the opportunity to open for several bigger acts. However, when COVID-19 struck, the duo decided to focus on their solo careers.

His hard work is evident in his debut single “Do Me Like You Do.” Described as a “more edgy version of Lewis Capaldi,” MICHA’s sound is uniquely his own. This year, he was selected to play at the Pop Ronde, a prestigious Dutch music tour that includes performances at 40 venues across the country.
