Introducing Eugene Delta he’s an Indie rock artist from Vienna. Eugene Delta’s songs come from emotional places and are subjective reports of experience, narratives, and expressions of incomplete processes of understanding. Might be somber, might be airy, but always with a wink looking deep into the – sometimes half-empty, sometimes half-full – a glass of melancholy. Founded in 2017 Eugene Delta has since released an EP (Black Dogs, 2017) and an album (Calm Down, It’s Over, 2021). A new EP Rehabilitation is to be released in the autumn of 2022. With the release of his newest single “My Heart Feels Like A Bottle Of Lotion,” he projects a thrilling sound that will certainly grasp your attention. Beginning with bright instrumentation leading onto his sweet and ear-catching vocals he captures the song entirely. Explaining the track a bit further it’s about moments of loss of meaning, depressive rigidity, and the disappearance of references to reality. Packed with ever-burgeoning feel-good vibes of doom, in the end, the song already reveals the tragically illuminating realization with the first sentence: that in the age of profit-hungry self-realization, dealing with oneself and others is often closest to shaking and squeezing a used bottle of body lotion. To the vocals and production, this single will surely have you vibing and even singing along to the lyrics. It would be just perfect for a late-night drive or a walk down the beach after dawn. Go stream “My Heart Feels Like A Bottle Of Lotion” and check out his discography which is filled with astounding music.
