Upcoming artist Eric Tano is a Multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, producer, and environmentalist, who grew up in the bustling city of Miami Beach, Florida. Tano’s journey in music began at 14 when he started learning how to play bass. While he has always been passionate about music, he didn’t realize it would become his career. Starting in 2015, Tano moved to Tallahassee to study Environmental Science at Florida State University. While at university, Tano was introduced to music production and electronic music by his roommate who would later become his mentor. Leaning into his biggest inspirations, Lemaitre, Porter Robinson, and Robotaki, he would go on to curate an original sound stemming from analog synthesizers. At just 25, Eric Tano brings a refreshing sound to his craft, producing songs from his bedroom with a refined color pallet that speaks to shared experiences of longing, grief, and love. With major works to come, Tano seeks to infuse imagery of naturalism with new takes on electronic elements in the electronic music genre. Following the release of his newest single “You Are Not Alone,” he presents a dazzling sound that will certainly grasp your attention. Beginning with vibrant instrumentation leading onto bright and sweet vocals featured by Sofia Camille they complete the song entirely. Explaining the track a bit further it addresses suicide in the wake of losing his childhood friend. To the vocals and production, this single will surely have you vibing.
