Upcoming band Ego Jones began as the recording project of Dallas-based multi-instrumentalist and producer Jude Holland, and guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter Gabriel Garcia. After releasing their debut album, “Fluoressence” in the fall of 2020, the group expanded their lineup to form the current band; adding Fishing in Japan guitarist Landon Headstream, as well as bassist and guitarist Jackson Zemler, and producer/saxophonist Ethan Lacey to the group. Influenced by the worlds of indie rock, folk, jazz, and electronica, Ego Jones aims to create a refreshing and unique blend of modern-day psychedelia – a spaced-out type of cosmic songwriting, that reflects omnipresent abstract moods and deep, yet hard-to-define emotions. Following the release of their newest single “Some Small Part of Me,” they present a captivating sound that will definitely intrigue your attention. Beginning with dazzling instrumentation leading onto Gabriel’s sweet and intoxicating vocals they complete the song entirely. Explaining the track a bit further it’s kind of a poetic documentation of some of the feelings, experiences, and emotions Gabriel went through during 2020. To the vocals and production, this single will certainly have you vibing. Being just great for a late-night drive or a walk down the beach after dawn. Go stream “Some Small Part of Me” and check out their discography which is filled with astounding music.
