D.U.M.B. Luck With Their Fascinating Single “Banana Buckets”

Amazing act D.U.M.B Luck is a bi-coastal duo born out of a shared love of Philadelphia DIY, Hip-hop production, and experimental pop. As previous members of the Philly indie band Blubird, Jack Correll and Luke Volkert released their eclectic first album on Bandcamp in 2017. The electric pop outfit made its cross-platform debut with the lead single “Joyful”. With the release of their newest single “Banana Buckets,” they project a captivating sound that will certainly intrigue your attention. Beginning with vibrant instrumentation leading onto their sweet and catchy vocals they complete the track entirely. Explaining the song a bit further it’s filled with a cascading bass loop, the duo added drums and guitar to emulate some of their favorite 70’s soul songs. The verses feature a melancholy robot opening relationship woes, while the instrumental chorus features layered orchestral samples, tapey synths, and distorted guitar.
