Carson Ferris is an American pop artist, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist from Provo, Utah. He made his debut in the music industry with his first single “Can’t Be Without You”, a collaboration with Trinidad Cardona. In 2021, Carson won a social media contest that led to a video of his being featured in Donny Osmond’s Las Vegas show, which is still being shown at Harrah’s in Las Vegas. His second single “Favorite Time of Year” has been streamed over 400,000 times in its first year. In 2022, Carson played in several festivals in the Provo area, including Fork Fest and Buzzards and Bees. He is constantly writing new music and recording in the studio and has exciting new projects in the works. One of his newest singles “Drive Alone” is a reflection of Carson’s journey in music, and the challenges he faced while trying to find his own path. The song is a reminder to trust your instincts and make the decisions that are right for you, despite what others may say. “Drive Alone” started as a simple phrase, “take the next left,” which came from the GPS on Carson’s phone as he was on his way to meet with artist and producer Michael Van Wagoner (MYKYL) who co-wrote and produced the song. The song was co-written by LA-based, award-winning songwriter Jasmine Crowe and recorded at Provo’s June Audio recording studio. The song was mixed by Adam Turley and mastered by Eric Disero. “Drive Alone” is available now on all major streaming platforms and is perfect to listen to while on a road trip or a drive alone, in the car or at home. Keep an eye out for more new music from Carson Ferris in 2023.
