Introducing an amazing artist known as Bebe Barry she grew up in the heart of London above a pub in the middle of Borough Market. Initially a shy kid but never without an instrument, pub life soon brought her out of her shell, even playing for the regulars some days after school. Bebe started writing her own songs as a teenager but was always hesitant to put her experiences into words. After being diagnosed with PTSD and ADHD as an adult, however, she found that she suddenly had a lot to say and songwriting was her way of saying it. Bebe has always been a pop kid with a love of rock and roll, David Bowie being her biggest influence since discovering him at the age of ten. Despite hitting some lows over the years, she has remained an optimist, turning her darkest moments into soaring anthems that make you want to dance. Her style has been described as a hybrid of Lily Allens attitude and instrumentations reminiscent of The 1975. She is fast becoming known for her exuberant and highly energetic shows. Following the release of her newest single “Dumped At The Quarters”, she projects a dazzling sound that will certainly grasp your attention. Beginning with bright instrumentation leading onto her vibrant and ear-catching vocals she captures the track entirely. Explaining the song a bit further it’s about being broken up during the quarter-final of England’s football game. It’s a fun mix of an upbeat, energetic pop song with nods to the football classic, “Three Lions,” by The Lightning Seeds, Skinner and Baddiel. To the vocals and production, this single will surely have jamming out and even possibly relating to the lyrics. It would be just great for a drive during sunset or singing along with some friends. Go stream “Dumped At The Quarters” and check out her discography which is filled with thrilling tracks.
