Talented artist Amber Glacier is originally from Newcastle upon Tyne in Northern England but is now based in Brighton, on England’s south coast. She used to make more dark, cold synth music but started to develop a pop project on the side. She released her first single, ‘Other Side’ in 2020 during the COVID-19 lockdown, the extra time during the lockdown gave her more of a chance to get the finishing touches on her first single. With the release of her newest single “Cold as Ice,” she projects a thrilling sound that will definitely intrigue your ears. Beginning with dreamy instrumentation leading onto her smooth and ear-catching vocals she captures the song fully. Explaining the track a bit further it’s a Power pop anthem with catchy hooks and a euphoric chorus, with influences from the 80s and 90s as well as modern artists such as Charli XCX, Lady Gaga, and Kim Petras, Cold as Ice brings all the elements of classic pop together to create a dancefloor classic.
