Henny Knightz is a musical artist who embodies the voice of the social misfits. As one half of the duo “The Knighthood Society,” he is dedicated to creating a soundtrack for those who feel like outsiders. Henny hails from Hackney, East London, where he experienced the harsh realities of life in the early 2000s. Often bullied and marginalized by his peers, Henny developed a unique and emotionally charged perspective on life. He believes that “sometimes you can find the most color and beauty within darkness.” At the age of 16, Henny began to struggle with depression and social anxiety. To cope, he turned to writing and drawing as a form of escape. This eventually led him to start “The Knighthood Society” with his friends Caj Knightz and Nicki Knightz. The group was a celebration of individuality and creativity, but it was struck by tragedy when Caj passed away. In the wake of this loss, Henny’s music took on a new, alternative sound that was influenced by old-school Three 6 Mafia and London’s 90s two-step garage culture. Henny’s newest single, “Aston DB5,” is a raw and emotive representation of his experiences with broken trust, self-love, lost friendships, confidence, and loss.
