Muanda is a talented singer, songwriter, and producer hailing from Kibi, Ghana. Raised in the barracks of Burma Camp/Accra, Muanda has always had a love for music and artistic expression. In an effort to improve her skills as a performer, Muanda played in various bars and shows in and around Accra and toured universities in Ghana with the Moonlight Cafe Band. Muanda has recently released her newest single, “No Love,” in collaboration with Marince Omario and produced by Jonathan Walter. The song addresses the struggles that creative youth in Ghana often face and encourages them to stand together and pursue their dreams despite rejection from society. Muanda’s debut EP is set to be released in spring 2023 and is rooted in classic Ghanaian music with a modern twist.
