Talented band Paper Lady is the immortal crone, casting spells and wreaking havoc in Allston, MA. Paper Lady is portrayed through the physical form of frontwoman Alli Raina, and summoned by Rowan Martin (guitar), Will Davila (bass), Kenzo Divic (keys), and Alex Castile (drums). They have made a name for themselves within the Allston DIY scene and the surrounding Boston area. Their music could be described as ethereal freak rock. They all met at Berklee College of Music and became fast lifelong friends. They hope to one day live on a farm together, record music, and dance under the moon. With the release of their newest single “Winter Comes,” they project a dreamy sound that will certainly grasp your ears. Starting with vibrant instrumentation leading onto Alli’s sweet and luscious vocals they complete the track fully. Explaining the song a bit further it’s about the coming of hard times. It is an anthem for preparing to be alone. Sonically, it is a swirling mass of magical energy and hope for independence. To the vocals and production, this single will surely have you vibing.
