ÒLAH BLISS Introduces Her Staggering Track “Death Wish” (Hate Me)

Amazing artist ÒLAH BLISS is a Polish-born, London-based artist who prides herself in making gender-fluid, free-form, alternative pop music. When combined with her enigmatic yet outspoken persona, it all adds up to a rather explosive combination. With songs like “Ocean” and “We Only Live Once”, both being the perfect blend of honest, intelligent writing with top-notch production, Òlah brings you into her universe of emotionally charged, sonically pleasing compositions. Born Aleksandra Glińska in Gniezno, Poland, Òlah Bliss moved to England as a teenage girl, seeking international music opportunities. Having to learn English first, she talked her way into a music college, where she received BTEC Higher National Diploma in Music, and later moved to London, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Commercial Music at the University of Westminster. Òlah’s debut EP “13:20” was heavily influenced by her early idol – Bjork, but whilst transitioning into the pop world with later releases, Òlah fell in love with alternative branches of pop music and that’s where she currently resides. With each release, she organically received extensive support from Spotify and Apple Music editorial teams, securing playlists such as New Music Friday, Fresh Finds, Young & Free, All New All Now, Hyperpop, and several others. Having done many notable shows in the past, including London Fashion Week, SXSW, and several support shows, Òlah established herself as a magnetic performer and is now rehearsing to resume live performances towards the last quarter of the year. Following the release of her newest track “Death Wish” (Hate Me) she projects a thrilling sound that will surely intrigue your ears. Beginning with vibrant instrumentation leading onto her sweet and full vocals she captures the song entirely. Explaining the track a bit further it’s a very personal piece of art consisting of two parts. Part A – Death Wish – is a mere reflection of the past and teenage mistakes in a form of self-analysis. She’s digging deeper, questioning whether her upbringing affected her as an adult, particularly her choice of partners, as she always finds herself in impossible situations. Part B – Hate Me – is an emotional release, she’s taking her life into her own hands and putting her wants and needs first; she’s choosing to re-direct the love that she’s placed in people, back into herself where it belongs, whilst learning that self-respect, happiness and the understanding of her worth are way more important than feelings that she might have for other people. To the vocals and production, this single will certainly have you vibing. It would be just great for a late-night drive or alone within your thoughts. Go stream “Death Wish” (Hate Me).
