beau diako With His Ethereal Single “NYLON”

Amazing artist BEAU DIAKO born Beau Diakowicz (he’s a quarter Ukrainian), was brought up in Fareham, Hampshire – a nice enough place, but not one blessed with the vibrant music scene. A broken leg put paid to his love of football but did inspire him to pick up the acoustic guitar. Before long, Beau had mastered songs from Radiohead, Jeff Buckley, The Smiths and Sufjan Stevens as his virtuoso talent revealed itself. His 2019 debut EP ‘Flutter’ introduced him as an intriguing new proposition on the UK underground scene, assisted by guest features from Jordan Rakei and emawk. He also worked with Kasia Constance on her ‘Cosmic Dust’ EP and contributed guitar to the Sampology track ‘Suffer and Swim’. With the release of his newest single “NYLON”, he projects a very distinct sound that will definitely captivate your ears. Starting off with dreamy instrumentation leading onto his friend Tobi Tunis’s sweet and soft vocals in which they complete the track entirely. Explaining the song a bit further it finds Beau Diako employing some esoteric sonic touches to give the track’s core R&B sound an off-kilter edge. With understated island beats and a Latin-tinged edge courtesy of his airy, nylon guitars, the song feels both summery and moodily introspective. Tobi Tunis provides the magic bonus ingredient as his dreamy, hypnotic topline gives the song the atmosphere of an escape from the January gloom. To the vocals and production, this single will definitely have you dancing. Being just perfect for a late-night drive or a day out on the beach. Go stream “NYLON” and check out his discography which is filled with outstanding tracks.
