Upcoming artist Israel Nke is a talented act I’ve recently stumbled upon and to say the least his music really speaks volume and passion to the fullest extent. Going through a journey from leaving his polygamous father in Nigeria to life on the streets and a term in prison which led to his eventual redemption as an emerging singer and songwriter. Releasing his debut single “Moonlight” he describes this track to be a story of how a decision made in a split second can have a profound and lasting effect on those around you, with emphasis on lyrics that tell real-life stories with a contemporary urban soul backdrop. Each track he’s created thus far is true storytelling and pure, he touches base with his inner emotions and just lets it all out throughout his music and that’s something really compelling. With the release of his newest track “Evergreen”, he presents a very captivating sound that will surely draw your attention. Beginning with upbeat instrumentation leading onto his smooth and luscious vocals he completes the single fully.
