In 2022, Kelly Vargas collaborated with Adrian Mendoza, a fellow Latinx musician from Peru, to create “Consentida,” a bilingual track that seamlessly merges Pop/Alt R&B with Latin influences. The song, written in both English and Spanish, reflects Kelly’s multicultural identity as a first-generation Costa Rican-American residing in LA. “Consentida” is more than just a musical endeavor for Kelly.
